Leo Express to Enter German Market with Frankfurt Link to Poland–Ukraine Border

Leo Express has announced plans to launch a new long-distance international rail service that will connect Germany, Czechia, and Poland. The service is set to commence on 25 June 2026.

The new route will extend from Frankfurt, Germany, to Przemyśl, located in south-east Poland, near the border with Ukraine. This expansion marks Leo Express’s entry into the German rail market.

The service aims to enhance connectivity between major cities in the region, facilitating travel for both business and leisure passengers. The route will provide an alternative transportation option for travelers moving between these countries.

Leo Express is known for its commitment to modern rail travel, offering amenities such as free Wi-Fi and comfortable seating. The company has been expanding its operations in Central and Eastern Europe, and this new service is part of its strategy to broaden its network.

In addition to the Frankfurt-Przemyśl route, Leo Express plans to explore further connections within Germany and neighboring countries, aiming to establish a comprehensive rail network that meets the growing demand for international travel.

The launch of this service is expected to contribute to the regional economy by promoting tourism and facilitating cross-border trade. Leo Express is currently in discussions with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of this new route.
