This investment will enhance ENNA's operational capacity, benefiting clients in logistics and freight transport while strengthening its competitive position in the European market.

ENNA Logic, a Croatian logistics company, has made a strategic investment by ordering five multi-system Siemens Vectron locomotives, scheduled for delivery in spring 2027. This acquisition aims to enhance the company’s operational capacity on key European transport corridors, responding to increasing client demand for reliable and environmentally sustainable freight transport.

CEO Ana Soldo emphasized that this investment is crucial for executing ENNA's long-term growth strategy. The new locomotives will significantly increase transport capacities and improve service quality and stability. The Vectron locomotives are designed with an integrated equipment package that includes the A17 corridor configuration, allowing them to operate across 11 European countries without the need for technical modifications or delays at national borders.

The operational flexibility provided by these locomotives is a significant advantage for ENNA, particularly as they support three voltage levels, which is essential for efficient cross-border transport. This capability reduces operational downtime and enhances transport efficiency, as highlighted by Krešimir Nevistić, Head of Siemens Mobility Croatia.

In addition to the locomotives, ENNA has secured a maintenance deal for up to 30 years, which promises greater availability and predictable long-term costs. This partnership will further bolster ENNA's operational efficiency as it expands its services into Serbia, Slovenia, and Hungary.

ENNA's commitment to operational agility is evident in its reported 22% annual income growth, a notable achievement in the competitive European rail freight industry. This growth is partly attributed to the Rijeka Gateway container terminal project, developed in collaboration with APM Terminals (Maersk), which has been a cornerstone of ENNA's strategic initiatives.

As ENNA continues to expand its fleet and operational capabilities, the company positions itself to meet the evolving demands of the logistics market, ensuring it remains competitive in the fast-paced European rail freight sector.
