The first Flexity tram enters service in Graz

On June 9, 2026, Graz celebrated the inaugural run of its first Flexity tram, named 'Theodora', marking a pivotal moment in the city's public transportation evolution. The Graz city council is also set to approve the purchase of 24 more vehicles this month, with deliveries expected to commence in late 2028. This expansion is partially financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB), which supports public transport initiatives as part of the EU's climate policies.
