The Heidekrautbahn Celebrates Its 125th Anniversary – But One Gap Rema

The Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn (NEB) commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Heidekrautbahn, a significant milestone for the regional rail operator. Established in 1898, the Heidekrautbahn has evolved from traditional steam locomotives to modern hydrogen and battery-powered trains, reflecting a broader trend in the rail industry towards sustainable transport solutions.
